Product Description
American Songwriter recently raving that they are "Australia s answer to Coldplay," Australian duo for KING & COUNTRY (Joel and Luke) are proving to be one of the most exciting debut acts of the 2012.
The 11-track debut, Crave, infuses for KING & COUNTRY s multi-talented musicianship with creative, insightful lyrics and ear-grabbing melodies. The album includes the emotionally powerful track, "Light It Up" which was written by the duo about a close friend who suffered from depression. Crave also features "People Change" and "Love s To Blame," both of which made prominent television spotlights on The CW s hit show, "Vampire Diaries."

I was just looking for the best price on Busted Heart when I noticed the whole album for only $5. I gave all the tracks a quick listen and felt they had potential, so I bought it. Wow, after listening through about 10 times I've fallen in love with quite a few tracks. Very few that you will skip.A few tracks really stand out:Light It Up - Amazing harmony with a awesome chorus. The Proof of Your Love - Could turn out to be my favorite of the album over even Busted Heart, time will tell.Missing - Great rhythms with what to me sounds like a neat Mission Impossible Theme sound.Busted Heart - The lyrics are so potent with the cry to hold on to me! Love this one.Middle of Your Heart - Starts out sounding like U2. Very cool song.Love's to Blame - Almost like an 80's metal love ballad. Very nice.Pushing on a Pull Door - Love the oxymoronic theme of this song.

I really enjoyed the album, "Crave". The brothers of Rebecca St. James, have put out a great debut. They remind me of the band, "Downhere." The album and the band in general are very polished. This might be there first album on a major label, but it is clear they are experienced musicians. If you enjoy catchy, passionate music, layered with two great voices in harmony ala Downhere, you can't help but enjoy the album. The sky is the limit for this band. Massive Potential. Must Buy.
