I wish that I had read the ad better. These are not the original artists... and although they do sound similar, it was pretty apparent that they're not.

Pretty poor

I have to deal with a LOT of recorded music, in all genres. This particular TOP 40 COUNTRY HIT SONGS 40 Country Hits Vol. 1 purchase was one of the worst. Not only are the songs NOT done by the original artists, but the artists performing on this album are really pretty poor. I have heard other productions of this type that actually gave a decent rendition of their particular tune....but not on this album.My recommendation is, if you are a Country Western fan...steer clear!! If you have never heard Country Western music or if you have a tin ear, give it a shot...great price :-)
