This is not "The Banjos That Destroyed Christmas"

So don't expect extreme banjo versions of Christmas standards. Also I would say that just because it's banjo doesn't automatically make it bluegrass, but it leans that way.This is a collection of very tight, polished versions of Christmas standards with primarily banjo and some fiddle/bluegrassy instrumentation. It's mostly instrumental but with a few vocal tracks, and one track that is simply solo voice with no accompaniment.I think the price is very good. If you want a new collection to freshen up your Christmas shuffle, and you have a hankering for banjo music, then I think you'll like this.

Good album, a few "different" tunes.

I like some bluegrass pickin' and this has plenty of that. It also has some country/folk Christmas tunes that I don't think I've ever heard before. Interesting, talented musicians.
